USING CALLERTON TO CREATE A NEW MODERN FAMILY KITCHEN

A returning customer from 2004 wanted to modernise their kitchen. While the structure of the kitchen didn't need any changes, they desired a completely different look from the traditional kitchen they previously had. They had a small built in table space for relaxed eating and wanted to keep a similar table but were happy for a redesign of the space.
Since they had a traditional kitchen dresser, Mike designed a modern dresser with closed bi-fold doors to display their family ornaments, adding a twist by incorporating a bar area with a wine cooler and storage for their favorite tipples. It became a multifunctional space.
They had previously used a range cooker for family meals but were happy to switch to modern Siemens ovens with warming drawers at eye level and are now enjoying cooking with steam. The flex induction hob, a new easy-to-clean option, has provided a seamless working space. An American fridge freezer was a must, as it was something they previously had and relied on for their large family. The kitchen was reconfigured to suit their current family needs, and they even added a champagne trough for parties, which doubles as storage for chopping boards. We also installed LVT flooring for a fresh, updated look.
It is now a classic modern kitchen perfect for their extended family, grandchildren, and is always a hive of use.
