CALLERTON KITCHEN FOR A NEWLY DEVELOPED PROPERTY
Barrow In Furness | South Cumbria
Our customers had purchased their dream home around 18 months earlier and realised they wanted a larger kitchen area. They had an extension built and came to us for kitchen ideas, eventually falling in love with our Callerton roomset display. Mike worked with their plans and after discussions, they decided it needed to be adaptable to accommodate their family when they were home.
The kitchen features a quartz topped island with a casual eating area and an inductAir vented hob, along with a table made from the same furniture materials as the kitchen, topped with glass for more formal dining. This table can be moved across the room when entertaining.
A bank of furniture in grey-stained oak houses the Siemens ovens, warming drawers and refrigeration, complemented by a coordinating run of painted furniture in a soft grey. The design also includes a bar/coffee area behind bi-fold doors with a drinks fridge underneath, located towards the far end of the room where they can relax with a drink or entertain friends. A wine cooler was added to a small decorative bank of furniture at the far end of the dining area, tying the two spaces together.
The result is a beautiful, modern kitchen with modern cooking technology and natural light flowing through. It's an adaptable space, perfect for accommodating their extended family visits. The clients certainly had good taste with their choice of accessories, including a Quooker boiling tap and Tom Dixon lighting.
