A couple with young children had a vision to open up two rooms and their orangery to create a more family-orientated kitchen and living space. Working with our small building partner, we opened up walls, widened doorways and enlarged a small window into a picture window overlooking the garden, allowing light to flow through the space.

With Mike’s spatial awareness and skill in maximising small spaces, his design utilised each zone and incorporated modern smart lighting, including mood lighting for relaxed evenings.

The couple were familiar with cooking on Siemens appliances, so they happily upgraded to the Siemens studioLine range, including an inductAir hob, a coffee centre, and a wine cooler for a touch of luxury, as well as a Quooker boiling tap.
