A retired couple with two lovely dogs bought a bungalow by the sea a couple of years earlier and wanted to transform their kitchen into a stylish and practical space to suit their lifestyle. With the brief of creating a spacious, modern kitchen, we delivered a space that balances functionality with elegance.
It features Milano cabinetry in Indigo Blue & Platinum paired with a durable 22mm laminate worktop, which brings an understated touch of luxury to the design. With darker base units and light wall units, the colour scheme complements our client's coastal setting whilst establishing an open and airy feel.
A modern pantry unit is a lovely feature which provides plenty of storage for everyday items. We also incorporated a discreet run of wall cabinets above the radiator, which they requested to keep in its original position, for valuable extra storage.
Key appliances include a Neff Slide & Hide oven, microwave and grill, a Siemens inductAir hob, and a Franke granite sink with a swing tap, blending functionality with sleek design.
Keeping the utility space separate, as requested, we stacked the Siemens washer and dryer, freeing up room and cladding the walls. Both areas were completed with LED spotlights and durable LVT flooring for a polished finish.
The result is a fresh, modern kitchen that meets their needs and reflects their style. The couple were delighted with the outcome and felt it perfectly captured the essence of their charming seaside home.
