Black Handleless Keller Kitchen
Two sisters came in together to look at kitchens, and each bought modern kitchens for their individual homes.
For this project, our client wanted to upgrade her kitchen to a more modern look, with additional enclosed storage. There was an arched open passageway through to a downstairs toilet area, which she asked us to renew and modernise at the same time.
Mike’s design removed the archway, creating a more modern feel. He utilised the walkthrough by adding furniture for extra storage and created a coffee/refreshment area between the two rooms.
The client chose Keller’s Bronx in deep black in their handleless range, using handles only on the tall housing for the extra weight.
An appliance bank was created as a feature, with a single oven and combi-microwave, and a built-in fridge/freezer. An inductAir hob was used for clean lines and to allow extra storage in the wall cupboards, while a run of base drawers was paired with a small wine cooler.
The aesthetics allowed for an open space across the window side, which kept it light and airy. The base cupboards house her dishwasher and washing machine, and compact laminate was used as the worksurface.
The sleek lines look stunning with her under-mounted sink and Quooker tap.
We finished the rooms with tiled LVT flooring, replastered as required, opened the archway, installed modern recessed spotlights in the ceiling, and added a new tall wall-mounted radiator to finish.
The kitchen now looks like a modern space with everything at hand. Our client is very pleased with the outcome, she left us this review:
